CapraCol® is a colostrum substitute of a high standard which encourages the development of passive immunity at a substantially accelerated rate. The powder is free from pathogenic bacteria, moulds and viruses so that disease transfer from colostrum to lamb or kid is nil. CapraCol® is also simple to use; it dissolves easily without foam production.

CapraCol® is a powder made from colostrum from the first milking. This colostrum contains a high level of antibodies and many other components which contribute to the overall health of your lambs and goat kids. These components include lactoferrin, lactoperoxidase en lysozyme. Growth factors are also included which ensure healthy growth and development. CapraCol® is eniriched with fructooligosaccharides to support the intestinal tract. CapraCol® provides increased immunity through the long-term passive immunisation of goat kids and lambs.

CapraCol® is the best way to raise disease-free kids and lambs in potential CAE and paratuberculosis or Johne’s disease settings.

Composition
Colostrum (only from the first milking), fructooligosaccharides

Target animal
Goat kids and lambs.

Recommended
CapraCol® is used to feed kids and lambs directly after birth.

Instructions of use
50 - 75 grams of CapraCol® should be dissolved in 150 – 225 ml water at a temperature of between 40 to 45°C. Mix well and feed lambs or kids in the first 4 hours of life.

CapraCol® has no known side-effects.

Storage
CapraCol® should be stored in a dry place and in the original packaging.
